    a role in my selection What did you like most about being a student at ELTE It was a wonderful experience The professors were simply amazing I have learned many new things met tons of new people and even participated in the Erasmus exchange program while studying at ELTE What were the challenges in your study program The main challenge was probably the language since I was studying in Hungarian and I had difficulties at the beginning although I am bilingual but the professors were very helpful and understanding How do you think your degree has helped you in your life and career I believe an international experience like studying abroad can be really helpful and stands out in your CV since it provides you with new experiences new discoveries it expands your worldview Furthermore the experience of living and studying in a foreign country sets you apart from the majority of other job applicants As for the degree itself owning one from Eötvös Loránd University which is internationally recognized is definitely an advantage Do you have any advice for future students at ELTE At first I did not want to meet up with my class mates colleagues but later on I realized what a mistake I made You should definitely do that as soon as you have the chance If you have the chance attend Erasmus classes even if you are a full time student from Hungary Explore Budapest and its beauties It s a must Calendar February 2016 Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Sat Sun 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 ELTE

    teaching young people What were the challenges in your study program Sometimes there were some problems with communication as the level of English was very different from person to person And of course you are kind of nervous if you start over your academic life in a new city But Hungarian people are very kind and I never felt lonely Budapest is such a wonderful city with even more wonderful inhabitants They made my start in Hungary very easy How do you think your degree will help you in your life and career Spending a semester at ELTE not only helped me to concentrate on total different kinds of topics in my field of expertise but also helped my personality as I became more independent and definitely more international My marks were pretty good and I already received some positive feedback from different organizations and institutions who thought positive about my time at ELTE However I would definitely advise against studying abroad if your only reason is that because enterprises are looking for it on your curriculum vitae The first and most important fact when studying abroad is that you are doing it for yourself You will learn a lot more than just academic theories and writing exams you will grow as a human being and experience things you wouldn t have dreamed of That s the first reason why you should consider studying abroad Everything else should be second Do you have any advice for future students at ELTE My time in Budapest was the best time of my life I had the chance to spend five months in probably the most amazing city in the world and the chances you receive at ELTE are awesome Everybody is very kind and other students at the university are working extremely

    challenge myself the plesant atmosphere and the feeling that everything is possible and the sky is the limit What were the challenges in your study program Conducting and writing the MA thesis was the most challenging but also the most satisfying process that i have experienced With the help of my supervisors but also the other professors at the factuly who happily devoted much of their time I managed to create a successful research thesis which was exactly as I have always aspired Despite the fact that it was challenging or maybe thanks to that fact it was definitely the peak of my MA studies How do you think your degree will help you in your life and career The program gave me a lot of professional knowledge which helps me already and will definitely help me also in the future during my work as a clinical psychologist I believe that knowledge is power and my ambition as a psychologist is to use this power and help to as many people as possible Thanks to the diverse knowledge which the program supplies I will be able to help to a wide range of clinical populations in different frameworks Personally my studies at ELTE were an amazing process which enhance my confidence in my abilities and taught me that I can accomplish all of my aspirations with hard work but also with a positive and calm attitude towards life Do you have any advice for future students at ELTE Study hard challenge yourself and don t hesitate to ask the help of the qualified professors at the university if needed They will always be happy to assist you While you are doing all this don t forget to enjoy your time and discover all the amazing places experiences food and people
